Mombasa - MPs have asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to quickly deal with the rising cases of insecurity in the country.
They said the level of insecurity was alarming and accused the police force of inefficiency, corruption and laxity in dealing with the matter, Daily Nation reports.
In his response, Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government Joseph ole Lenku said they would soon vet county police commanders who were appointed without going through the exercise because they were urgently needed.
