Leaders summoned over Moyale killings

Nairobi - Following the recent killings in Moyale, Marsabit leaders in and out of office have been directed by the Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo to record statements with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Speaking to Capital News, Kimaiyo said that investigations were underway to find out the root of the inter-clan conflict which were politically instigated and that the perpertrators of the murder, arson, looting, political and social incitement shall face the law.
Even a the website ‘Garreonline’ is being probed for allegedly insighting the violence, as it called for the secession of parts of North Eastern Kenya.
