Lamu land grabbers named

Nairobi - The Presidential Strategic Communication Unit released a list of 22 private companies said to have grabbed public land in Lamu County.
This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu to revoke the title deeds of the said parcels of land.
The companies include Brick Investment Ltd, Rusken International, Mat International, Witu Nyangoro, Witu Self-help, Shanghai Investments, Fincorp Investments, Kaab Investments,Sheila Ranch, Dynamic Training, Savanah Fresh Fruits Exports, Mokowe Kibokoni Ranch and Panda Nguo Boni Community.
Others include Khalrala Ranch, Cyberdom Investments, Baragoni Ranch, Enganani Ranch, Lamu Investments, Amu Ranch and Maalim Ranch.
The land grabbed by individual companies range from a minimum of 6 000 acres to 40 000 acres.
