LSK to discipline five lawyers

Nairobi - Five lawyers who filed election petitions without having valid practicing certificates are now facing disciplinary action by The Law Society of Kenya.
According to The Standard, Apollo Mboya the CEO/Secretary of LSK, said that the lawyers will appear before the Advocates Disciplinary Tribunal next month, following concerns after some election petitions were dismissed on grounds of professional misconduct.
The lawyers set to face disciplinary action include Anziya Laban Akula, John Mwaura Nyoike, Raymond Janan Ogwe, Boniface Njiru, Nyamanga Erick Achoki.
