Kuppet signs KES 16bn deal with government

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports members of Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet) will get increased allowances after the union signed a KES16 billion agreement with the government.
Currently, the teachers have been getting KES 100 as commuter allowance but this has been increased to KES 4000.
According to the memorandum of understanding between Kuppet and Teachers Service Commission, the commuter allowance offer will be fulfilled until 2016.
