Kofi Annan blames govt for ICC woes
10 September 2013, 13:57
Nairobi - Former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has said that the government has itself to blame for the trial of President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and Joshua Sang at The Hague.
He said the government failed to provide justice to the victims of post election violence leading to International Criminal Court's (ICC) intervention, Daily Nation reports.
Annan, who led the mediation talks to end the violence in 2008, called on Kenyans to continue supporting ICC for the victims to get justice.
