Knut soldiers on as Kuppet calls off strike
03 July 2013, 08:02
Nairobi - The Standard reports Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet) yesterday suspended its strike and asked secondary teachers to go back to work.
However, the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) still holds that the primary teachers strike is still on and have defied a court order issued on Monday that they should report back to class.
Kuppet called of the strike to pave way for talks with the government on Wednesday, but Knut vowed to boycott the negotiations.
