Knut says govt's KES 17bn offer is inferior
09 July 2013, 14:18
Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) officials have rejected government's KES 17 billion pay deal saying that it is inferior.
According to the union, the government should heed to their pay increase demands once and not in phases as it is proposing.
They are accusing the government of leaving out most of their demands and instead honouring those of rival union, Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet).
