Nairobi - Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) officials have been accused of revoking an agreement they had arrived at with the government to call off the strike.
According to The Standard, Deputy President William Ruto said he was shocked when the officials said that they were not satisfied with the mode of payment that they had agreed on in paying their allowance demands.
He said Knut and the government had settled on a KES 16.8 billion deal which was to be implemented in two phases.
