Kimayo's appeal to witnesses
24 May 2013, 16:19
Nairobi - It seems that a number of criminals are getting away with their crime because members of the public have been reluctant to testify against them.
Speaking to Capital News on Friday, Inspector General David Kimaiyo said that the public needs to freely turn up and testify against suspects to bolster the charges against them.
Kimaiyo appealled to witnesses to come out and give evidence and highlighted the fact that a concerted effort between the police and the public can drastically reduce crime in the country.
