Kimaiyo draws new measures to curb road carnage

Nairobi - Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo has come up with measures to ensure that road accidents are reduced in Kenya.
According to Kimaiyo, officers commanding police stations will be tougher in the enforcement of traffic rules to reduce road carnage, Daily Nation reports.
He also came up with a proposal that will see drivers and conductors sign permanent contracts with vehicle owners to encourage them to be more responsible on the roads.
