Nairobi - The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has alleged police officers who have applied for the positions of county commanders have received threats from the office of the Inspector General.
The Standard reports that the NPSC chairman Johnston Kavuludi, said that the threats would not deter them from continuing with the vetting.
Despite directives from the IG David Kimaiyo that the exercise had been called off, Kavuludi said that over 300 officers had already applied for the 94 advertised positions.
