Nairobi - Nairobi governor Evans Kidero says that county bosses need time to deliver on devolution.
Devolution has been on everyone's lips this week as county bosses descended on the Coast to celebrate one year in existence.
And with all talk being about the successes of devolution, the failures too have been glaring.
Kidero admits that there is lots to be happy with but also says that there is space for growth and improvement.
" Devolution is the best thing that has happened to Kenya, no doubt about that, he said during the conference.
" There have been challenges that have blighted us and we have to admit so. That said, we have seen room for growth and improvement.
" We need time to do this. We need the support and patience of Kenyans, he added.
Kidero also says that there is need for Kenyans to rate their county bosses and provide solutions to problems that curb growth.
" We need to have Kenyans giving their views on devolution and providing answers to issues that exist.
