Kibaki appeals for peace

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports President Kibaki has asked Kenyans to maintain peace during and after the March 4 General Election.

According to him, Kenyans should shun violence and adopt peaceful means of resolving disputes especially those related to elections.

Speaking at State House, Nairobi when he received the peace torch from school pupils the President said conflicts derail economic, social and cultural development.
