The Hague - Deputy President William Ruto’s lawyer at The Hague on Thursday said former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was seeking support from the outlawed Mungiki sect during the 2007 and 2013 elections.
Lawyer Karim Khan played video clips and produced photos to prove that Raila had links with members of the outlawed sect, including Maina Njenga, who was their leader, Daily Nation reports.
In the evidence, Njenga claims that it would be a triumph for Kikuyu youth if Raila wins in the 2013 election.
