Kenyans show they care via M-Pesa

Nairobi - As rescue mission continues at the Westgate Mall in Westlands, Kenyans continue to show their solidarity by donating blood and money towards the attack that occurred on Saturday.
With 62 people already confirmed dead and over 175 others injured, Kenyans are doing everything possible to save the victims and survivors of the attack.
On Saturday, Safaricom opened a Paybill number for subscribers to contribute monetary donations to support the attack victims.

Kenyans at home and in the diaspora have been urged to contribute their donations via M-Pesa through the Paybill number 848484. People are able to contribute as little as KES 10 and as much as KES 50,000 towards the cause and the Paybill number is zero-rated, Safaricom announced via twitter.
To contribute, subscribers are advised to use the procedure: M-PESA Menu>Payment Services>Pay Bill>Business Number (Enter 848484)>Account Number: (Enter 848484)>Amount>PIN>confirm details and send.
