Nairobi - As the world joins South Africa to mourn the passing of Nelson Mandela, Kenyans continue to share their tribute messages online.
Here are some of their thoughts on Madiba:
Santoxkelly Rock: Madiba you live to be a hero in our hearts. We loved you but Lord loved you most.
Oscar Kituri: He was the father of democracy and forever he will remain in our memories until we meet again. He was also the pillar of democracy I think in the whole world no leader will match.
Peter Ngatunyi: We want our leaders to leave a legacy like that one of Mandela. R.I.P.
Dennis Ontita: Let other leaders borrow a leaf from Mandela.
George Karori: The passing of an ICON and the end of an ERA! Will African leaders EMULATE this gallant son of Africa?
Julius Kosgei: R.I.P Madiba; you were an inspiration to Africa and the world at large.
MissWriter ?: Dear Madiba as you rest today, please ask God to send other African leaders like you. We are in dire need!!! #RIPNelsonMandela
Mbali Mazibuko (via email): It’s once again those mornings, when death reminds us that it is final step, claiming the most influential person in South Africa, all I can say is congratulations to a life lived in courage and conviction, all the brave and the lucky can embrace that.
