Kenyan found recruiting militants for Syria

United States - A Kenyan man has been indicted in the United States on 15 counts involving a conspiracy to send militants to fight alongside the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusrah Front in Syria.
Mohamed Hussein Said (25) is a resident of Nairobi and Mombasa, Daily Nation reports, and is alleged to have conspired with US citizen and Saudi resident Gufran Ahmed Kauser Mohammed, who is also accused of wiring thousands of dollars to al-Shabaab insurgents in Somalia.
Said pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday, as the court heard that one of his recruits - identified by US prosecutors only as "S.M." - is said to be the perpetrator of a grenade attack on a bar in Nairobi.
