Nairobi - Kenyan police early on Monday linked an attack on a Nairobi discotheque, which injured 14 people, to recent threats made by al-Shabaab insurgents, calling for vigilance.
"Yes, we are linking the grenade attack to the threats that have been issued by Shabaab and that is why I am appealing to city residents to be vigilant and co-operate with our officers," Antony Kibuchi, provincial police chief for Nairobi, said.
The Somali Islamists have tied to international terror outfit al-Qaeda.
