Nairobi - The British envoy to Kenya, Dr Christian Turner has condemned the Tuesday morning attack attack that left 36 quarry workers dead, saying that Kenya will not be cowed by terror.
In a twitter update, Dr Turner said: “We condemn #Mandera attack &condolences to those who've lost loved ones. Urge unity &dialogue; Kenya will not be cowed by terror.”
The envoy further called for unity, urging Kenyans to work together to defeat terror.
His calls come even as members of the opposition renew their push for dialogue with the ruling coalition, Jubilee, in a bid to find ways of taming the runaway insecurity that is being experienced in the northeastern region and other parts of the country.
