Kenya to consider Palestine request for Nairobi embassy

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has welcomed Palestine's request to build an embassy in Nairobi, reports the Nation.
The president welcomed the proposal when he met Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas at the Bayan Palace in Kuwait city Wednesday, at the ongoing Arab-Africa summit, saying that the country supported the Palestine push for absolute independence.
He further stated that Kenya supports the initittive to end the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine and stressed the importance of peace in the region.
