‘Kenya to blame for South Sudan coup attempt’

Nairobi - Richard Onyonka, Kenya’s former foreign affairs assistant minister, has said the blame for the attempted coup in South Sudan lies with Kenya and the African Union (AU).
Onyonka said Kenya and the AU failed to monitor the developing situation that boiled over on Sunday evening, Standard Digital reports.
He explained that the failure of South Sudan’s referendum and election will be blamed on Kenya and the AU, the guarantors appointed to monitor developments.
