Kenya sets up South Sudan crisis management centre

Nairobi - The government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has set up a South Sudan crisis management centre to provide information on Kenyans who are still trapped in the fighting in South Sudan.
Anyone with information on Kenyans stranded in South Sudan can inform authorities on +25420310325, Daily Nation reports.
Kenya Airways and the government on Wednesday partnered to operate two chartered flights to evacuate Kenyans who are still caught up in the fighting in Juba.
The flights will be operated on Thursday.
Kenya Airways had earlier suspended all flights to and from Juba between December 24 and 31 following the fighting.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also ordered the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) to evacuate 1,600 Kenyans stranded in South Sudan as the fighting continues.
