Kazungu: Miraa doesn't kill libido

Nairobi - Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi has rubbished claims that miraa lowers libido in men and hence leading to high rates of divorce in areas where it is grown as a cash crop.
In a report published on The Standard, the Cabinet Secretary noted that the many children he saw playing in the fields during his fact finding mission in the region were a clear indication that miraa consumption did not affect sexual performance whatsoever.
Kazungu's comments were seconded by Tigania East MP, Mburi Apuri, who said that he has consumed the crop for many years yet he still performs his conjugal duties as expected. Citing his 16 children as evidence, Mburi said that miraa indeed is an aphrodisiac of sorts.
