Kaimenyi outlaws holiday tuition

Nairobi - Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has threatened to prosecute any school head who will ask learners to remain at school for holiday tuition.
According to Capital News, Kaimenyi said it is important for the learners to break for holiday since it is the only time they can acquire other skills that are not taught in classroom.
Those found offering holiday tuition risk being jailed for a period not exceeding one year or pay a fine not exceeding KES 100,000 or both.
