KNEC increases KCSE exam charges

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) has increased the registration fees for this year’s Form Four candidates.  

According to Knec chief executive Paul Wasanga, rising cost of examination materials and hiring of personnel are the reasons for raising the fees.

He said due to the escalating cost of running the examination, they found it necessary to review the KCSE fees with effect from January 2013.
