Nairobi - The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) has asked the government to consider the demands for higher pay by educationists, Daily Nation reports.
The human rights group said that it is high time teachers should reap the fruits of their hard work, saying failure by successive governments to address the issue has compromised the quality of education in Kenya.
According to the KNCHR, the government should address the teacher's concerns before implementing the laptop project for schools.
