Nairobi - The Standard reports Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) plans to give teachers a KES 5.4 billion medical cover.
Last year, Knut excluded TSC while negotiating the cover hence obstructing the implementation of the medical cover.
The cover will benefit more than 280,000 teachers who will choose a medical facility based on their limits for proper medical care.
