KCSE, KCPE exams' dates shift

Nairobi - National examinations for primary and secondary schools have been pushed by three weeks to recover time lost during the teacher’s strike that formally ended on Monday morning.

Capital News reports that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) oral exams will now start on the October 15, while the Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCPE) will kick off on December 4 and end on December 6.

KCSE practicals will be held between October 25 and 30 while theory papers will be taken between November 12 and December 11, with the marking and processing of KCSE results being done between December 13 and April 16 while that of KCPE, between December 7 and January 25.
