KBC employees on strike

Nairobi - Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) employees have gone on strike to demand better pay; dressed in red t-shirts they demanded to be paid overtime allowance arrears amounting to KES360 million, The Standard reports.
The employees have vowed to paralyse operations at the station including live coverage of the release of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations results and that they will not go back to work until their grievances are solved.
The employees spoke person Millicent Lempaa said that they should be paid like other state corporations workers.
