KANU: Party to watch
04 January 2012, 09:27
Nairobi - The Kenya African National Union (KANU) has already declared its intention to work with other like-minded political groupings and is currently revamping itself ahead of the 2012 general elections, saying it is the party to watch.
KANU says that the Party of National Unity (PNU) alliance is bound to fail and it’s necessary for the partner parties to seek other alternatives in order to survive the political heat.
In a briefing to Capital News on Tuesday, Nick Salat, KANU's Secretary General said that President Kibaki’s failure to associate with PNU and endorse a presidential hopeful within the alliance proved that it was a sinking ship.
