Judges Ang'awa, Ombija 'unfit' to serve Judiciary

The Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board on Friday declared Judges Mary Ang'awa, Nicholas Ombija, Joseph Sergon, Leonard Njagi and Murugi Mugo unfit to serve in the Judiciary.

According to Daily nation reports, the board gave their ruling as they reviewed the fate of 28 High Court judge, with most declared fit to serve.

In November, Parliament amended law on vetting of judges and magistrates to block courts from hearing cases of individuals found unfit to serve in judiciary.
