JSC won't honour summons

Nairobi - Members of the Judicial Service Commission have resolved not to appear before the Justice and Legal Affairs committee on Thursday, as per summons.
The commission through its acting secretary Kakai Kissinger released a statement to Daily Nation, saying that a formal communication regarding the decision by the commission will be made to parliament and to the public in due course.
The decision was reached after the JSC commissioners held a meeting chaired by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
