Nairobi - The Judicial Service Commission has refuted claims by the sacked Chief Registrar Gladys Shollei, that its commissioners were holding many meetings and getting a lot of money as sitting allowances.
JSC said the meetings it held were within the law and that the sitting allowance for the commissioners was KES 56,000 and not KES 80,000 as revealed by Shollei, The Standard reports.
Shollei has maintained that she is innocent and accused JSC of illegally sacking her.
