08 August 2013, 08:04
Nairobi - Investigations have been launched to ascertain whether the fire at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was deliberately started to cause destruction.
According to Daily Nation, the investigators were exploring the possibility of arsonists seeking to destroy immigration records or other sensitive security data at JKIA.
Witnesses said it all started as a small fire that could have been contained but the response was very slow hence causing massive destruction at the airport.
