09 July 2012, 12:51

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports that the City Council of Nairobi may be sued by the company that gave it a controversial ISO certificate over failure by the Council to pay for services it received.

In a letter to Nairobi Town Clerk Roba Doba, DQS-Kenya Managing Director Charles Karobia denied claims by the Council that it had settled the bill owed to the certifying firm.

In a letter also copied to the Local Government PS Karega Mutahi, the company stated that despite the council alleging to have paid them KES 20,000,000; they were yet to receive any money whatsoever from the Council.
