Nakuru - Some of the families that were displaced during the 2007/8 post election violence are calling on the government to resolve existing land disputes before resettling them.
Led by their chairman Paul Thiong’o, the families demonstrated in Nakuru County saying that the land bought for them by the government had not been divided among them because of a conflict with local squatters, Daily Nation reports.
Thiong’o urged the government to resolve the conflicts in order to succeed in its plan to resettle them.
