ICC judges call another meeting on Uhuru's case

Nairobi - Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) will on Thursday next week hold another status conference to discuss the future of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s case.
The judges invited Attorney General, Githu Muigai, who is the government representative at the court, the Legal Representative for Victims and other parties in the case to attend the status conference, The Standard reports.
Among the issues that will be discussed are claims by the court’s prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda that the government had failed to disclose President Kenyatta's financial records, evidence they feel is crucial to the case.
President Kenyatta's defence team said Wednesday the case had “collapsed”, but Bensouda wants the judges to adjourn the case indefinitely until when the government will show its cooperation with the court.
