House Commitee rules out Mututho's return to NACADA helm

Nairobi - A parliamentary committee has ruled that John Mututho is unfit to be the head of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse NACADA, reports the Nation.
Mututho's appointment as chair of the body was revoked by parliament which argued that he was not vetted by the House and they have now blocked his return, indicating that he should first clear the impending cases he has in court to be declared fit to hold public office.
The National Security and Administration Committee said that he was capable of handling the role but that his integrity was in question.
According to the report, the House is scheduled to discuss the report on Wednesday and if adopted, Mututho’s nomination will be rejected and can only
be approved if an amendment is made.
