Nairobi - Journalist Walter Barasa’s extradition case has been pushed to December following his mother’s death.
The hearing of the case in which Brasa is seeking to block an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC) had been set as November 11, 2013, Daily Nation reports.
The ICC issued the arrest warrant against Barasa for interfering with prosecution witnesses in Deputy President William Ruto’s case at The Hague.
Attorney General, Githu Muigai earlier said the government was ready to arrest Barasa and hand him over to the ICC if the High Court finds evidence to warrant his extradition.
He said the government will act after the court’s ruling.
