Hefty JSC allowance query sparked row – Shollei

Nairobi - Gladys Shollei, the Chief Registrar, dropped a bombshell when she admitted that the Judiciary had issues with he because she blew the whistle on the misuse of
funds, Capital FM reports.
Service Commission (JSC) and Shollei had reached gridlock and this was due to the Chief Registrar investigating outrageously high allowances paid to the members.
“The issue of allowances has been the cause of all the trouble I have
been in whilst at the Judiciary. This is after I raised the issue that
the JSC have no part to play in matters related to finances yet they
insist on their involvement in financial management, Shollei said.
