Kakamega - Health workers are still opposed to government’s plans to have health services transferred to county governments.
Jophinus Musundi, Chairperson of the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) said they will not accept the move and urged the government to bring all stakeholders on board to share their views before the plan is implemented, The Standard reports.
The workers want the government to establish a Health Service Commission to coordinate and supervise health issues instead of devolving them to counties.
