Health minister calls for new ideas to curb infant mortality

Nairobi - Health minister James Macharia has urged Kenyans to embrace cost effective methods to prevent infant mortality, AllAfrica.com reports.
He also said for the nation to achieve Milllenium Development Goals four and five, there needs to be a safe environment for antenatal care, delivery and care for new born babies.
"We need to focus more on new innovative and effective solutions such
as use of mobile phones by health workers to deliver services,"
