Govt seeks stronger ties with African countries

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the government is seeking to strengthen its ties with African nations as it tries to enlarge its trade markets.
According to Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed, the
government wants to increase its share it the trade within the Africa up from the current 45 per cent.
Speaking during a breakfast meeting with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (Kepsa) at the Hotel Intercontinental, Nairobi, Mohammed said that Kenya has the ability to export goods to African countries and thus the need for building strong relationships with these countries.
