Free laptop project case dropped

13 June 2013, 13:45

Eldoret - The Standard reports Green Hand Organisation's case seeking to block the implementation of free laptop project in public primary schools has been dismissed by the High Court.

According to Justice Silas Munyao the case was dismissed because it had failed to demonstrate that the government had already started to roll out the programme or it will be implemented immediately.

He said that even if  the laptops were supplied they will be used for duration of time before they become waste.
