Four killed, six injured in Kibera slums fire

Nairobi - Four people were killed in a fire that broke out in Nairobi’s Kibera slums on Thursday morning.

The four, a woman and three children, are said to have been asleep when the fire broke out at around 2am burning 20 house structures in Gatwekera, The Standard reported.

According to police, six other people were injured in the incident and are admitted in hospital, where they are being treated.

The cause of the fire could not be immediately established, but police say they have launched investigations into the incident.
