Former NHIF boss arrested over KES96m scandal

Nairobi - Former National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) boss, Richard Kerich, was arrested on Monday for being involved in a KES 96 million scandal.
Kerich was arrested by detectives from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) alongside David Chingi, NHIF's former assistant manager benefits and quality.
They will be arraigned in court today over the corruption charges involving Clinix Healtcare, The Standard reports.
According to officials, Clinix Healthcare chairman Jayesh Saini and other managers are being sought for arrest in connection with the scandal.
