Foreign journalists without valid press cards warned

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the government has issued a warning to foreign journalists working in Kenya without a valid press card that they will be prosecuted.
They should be accredited by the Department of Information.
According to the director of Information Joseph Olewe Owiti, journalists planning to be in the country for a short period of up to three months should be issued with special passes while those deployed in the country for a period exceeding three months will have to be issued with a work permit.
