Foreign Affairs PS Mwangi relesed on KES 2m bail

Nairobi - The Standard reports Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Thuita Mwangi was released on KES 2 million bond after he denied the allegations of abuse of office.

He was freed pending the ruling of an application in which he wants his plea deferred as he seeks constitutional interpretation of charges against him before the High Court. 

He appeared in court alongside ministry official Allan Mburu and they did not take plea.
