Nairobi - The Red Cross should be the blueprint to which all NGO's in Kenya based their model on,the Nation reports.
This comes in the wake of the government capping the amount of foreign aid to 15% of NGO budgets. It was reported that as much as Sh90 billion is provided to NGO's from outside the country.
However, Anne Waiguru, Devolution and National Planning Cabinet Secretary, said the governments plan to halt funding was meant to stimulate NGO's to become more self-sufficient, like the Red Cross who invested in certain projects around the country.
